Speed networking a resounding success
A great many thanks to all of the companies that participated in this, the first speed networking event organised by The Hungerford Chamber of Commerce at the Herongate Leisure Centre. Over 30 companies attended and quickly and enthusiastically embraced the networking ethos. Much like speed dating (allegedly), speed networking requires you to make a lasting impression in just 90 seconds! Many of the people attending were able to renew their acquaintance with existing contacts, but also go away with a host of new contacts. The Chamber of Commerce will be organising another similar event later on in the year and hopes this can become a regular event. Networking is about promoting you and your business, gaining new contacts, but also helping others companies to strengthen there business.
